Carin Advanced Management features
Easier installation and change management
CARIN local recorder servers are listening on a 100Mbit and Gigabit Ethernet port and stores all VoIP calls on the network segment. The box starts recording immediately after being connected to the mirroring port of the switch or a regular port of a hub. Compared to legacy PBX systems, no rewirering is needed when new phones are added. The web interface also allows administrators to simply and quickly manage changes or monitor system status.
Enterprise management
The deployed CARIN recording infrastructure is managed round-the-clock by the CARIN Advanced Monitoring service which identifies fault situations, intervenes automatically if needed and sends configurable alerts through email and enterprise standard SNMP protocol.
Integrated archival
The system includes software and hardware needed to create an archive of calls. This process is fully automated. An operator is only needed to change the archive media.
